September 9th and 10th, 2022

An exciting fun-packed weekend full of festivities along with exploring nature at its finest is all part of the Whooping Crane Festival. Bringing a full array of activities to the Princeton and surrounding area. Cranefest is one-of-a-kind event families and festival goers and nature lovers do not want to miss.

The event is held at the Princeton Public School (corner of Hwy 23/73 and Old Green Lake Road) on Saturday, September 10th, and is open to the public.

The festival celebrates and supports the ongoing efforts to save the endangered Whooping crane from extinction.

2022 WHOOPING CRANE FESTIVAL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, SEPT. 9TH
Ripon College Ceresco Prairie Walk – 2pm
Join Professor Emeritus George Wittler as he begins the walk from the prairie head, west of the Willmore Center parking lot on the Ripon College campus.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 10TH
Breakfast – 7-10am
Enjoy a breakfast prepared by the Princeton School’s Food Class

Artisan Art and Craft Fair – 9am-3pm

Speakers
Jane Weber – 9:30am, Canids of Wisconsin
David Stokes – 10am and 1pm, Children’s Edu-tainer
Rebekah Wiss – 11:30am, Aerial Predators
Bev Paulan – 2pm, Whooping Crane Conservation

Lunch – 10:30a,-1:30pm

Whooping Crane & Nature Festival /  Craft Show Vendor Information

Festival Date, September 10, 2022
9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Vendors are required to stay the full length of the festival. Set up time is 7 am to 9 am.
Craft Fair Starts at 9 am. Please let us know in advance if you need assistance in setting up. We will have students available to assist you.

ELIGIBILITY:
Items sold should be handcrafted or nature/ outdoor-related. Please supply your own display, extension cords, tables, and chairs. Vendors are responsible to collect and report 5.5% sales tax. Organizers of this festival are not liable for loss, damage or injury while at the festival.
